Left Over Coq Au Vin Chicken Sandwich Madness!

I just had to do this.

Creating meals including amazing amazing sandwiches with leftovers is always fun & interesting.

This sandwich was soooo freekin good however, that I just had to make it part of our recipe blog.

Introducing, the Smoke Eater Coq Au Vin sandwich!

Ingredients:

- Leftover Coq Au Vin including the gravy (See previous Blog post for the Coq Au Vin recipe).

- Fresh baked hard roll.

- Muenster cheese

- Bread & Butter Pickles

- 2 tbsps Honey

- 1 tbsp Yellow Mustard

- 1 tbsp Dijon Mustard

- 1/2 cup of Mayonnaise

- 1 tbsp of a tangy sweet BBQ sauce

- 1 tsp Chipotle powder

- 1 tsp Smoked Paprika

- 1/4 tsp sea salt

Preparation:

1- In a bowl mix together the honey, yellow mustard, dijon mustard, mayonnaise, bbq sauce, chipotle powder, smoked paprika & sea salt. This is your sandwich sauce.

2- In a frying pan, over low/med heat, heat the leftover coq au vin chicken iuncluding the gravey (make sure to get some of the mushrooms too).

3- Once the chicken is heated melt a slice or two ov muenster cheese on top of the chicken & gravy.

4- Once the cheese is melted, place the chicken onto the hard roll adding the bread & butter pickles & a generous amount of the sandwich sauce.

Your Masterpiece sandwich is complete! Enjoy the heck out of it!
